Biography

Sifundo is an experienced nurse with strong focus in gastroscience and endoscopy as well as diabetes education and management. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing (Diabetes Education and Management) from Flinders University in South Australia, Sifundo is also a Credentialed Diabetes Educator and a Registered Nurse, having completed their training at United Bulawayo Hospitals in Zimbabwe.

Since 2015, Sifundo has worked as a Clinical Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Gastroscience and Endoscopy area. In this role, she supports both new and experienced staff with training and educational needs, while also playing an integral role in developing and delivering comprehensive training sessions.

As a Diabetes Nurse Educator at multiple Monash Health sites since 2022, Sifundo ensures that patients possess the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to manage their diabetes effectively.
